I wanted to show of the steps needed to make an CG visualization as this, hope you enjoy this.

First a CG model is born from blueprints and in this case also references and sketches.


Then the model is UV mapped and textured.

Then the CG environment is built up, lit, composed and textured.

And after final render and post-process this is how it looks.

The story of this piece is that this vehicle is an survival and collecting vehicle in an lost world, scraps and parts are mounted to protect the people inside in a hostile and brutal northern part of the world, Sweden.

If you look close, you will see a road sign as a splash guard, oil drums for drive chain protection and a iron fence for window protection, to name a few.
